This solution allows field adjusters, equipped with notebook PCs or handheld PCs, to store data on a potential claim in the field. The data is transmitted in real time to the corporate headquarters via a radio frequency (RF) modem communicating through a wireless wide area network (WWAN). This wireless communication allows adjusters to quickly provide claims information to the customer.
